Saturday’s Spine Poetry - 1

Poetry and me are like East and West, never the twain shall meet! I just can’t comprehend poems. Period!

Then came across a new form of poetry on Meena’s Space. This poetry really fascinated me.
No, the sonnets, verses, ballads, prose etc are still Greek and Latin to me. This poetry is Different like the Maggi Tomato Ketchup!

Presenting for the first time on this blog...

The concept of book spine poetry appeared in 1993 with Nina Katchadourian’s Sorted Books project. Katchadourian began collecting interesting titles and arranging them in clusters so the spines could be read like a sentence(s) or poem.

  8. I am not sure if I can come up with something meaningful with my collection of non-fiction books. Maybe I can, but taking books and rearranging them back in the shelves is too much of effort, for me!
