These are the Tibetan Buddhist Mani Prayer Wheels.
Each Prayer Wheel is filled with thousands of Avalokiteshvara mantras "OM MANI PADME HUM". Tibetan Buddhists believe that spinning the Mani wheel in clockwise direction, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
Clicked at the Buddhist Monastery at Mclodganj, Himachal Pradesh.
