Friday’s 55 Fiction : The Choices You Make…

55 Fiction is a form of micro-fiction that refers to the works of fiction limited to a maximum of fifty-five words.

The Choices You Make…
Bettering himself was his revenge for all the hardships he had seen in his young sporting career.
Each event brought greater accolades and adulation.
The luxuries, the endorsements and the millions in the bank made up for the earlier deprivations.
Soon, he looked at all of them with disdain.
And then, he found Big C.


PS: One of the street names/slang for Cocaine is Big C!

    Its sad that successful people cant handle all that fame and adulation. They also forget how much people believe them.

  9. Sometimes it is so scary...

    When beyond a point, success and money dont give the desired satisfaction...the Big C comes in thinking that it will cure all the void...but it takes the ppl towards a black hole, not happiness....
